Allyson was raised in Indiana where she attended Harrison College. She has always loved animals. She grew up with donkeys, chickens, horses, cattle, cats, dogs, and basically anything she found, she would try to make it her pet. In Allyson’s senior year of high school, she took a veterinary assisting program which led her to Harrison College, School of Veterinary Technology.
During her last quarter of college, Allyson was deciding on places to do her externship. She was selected to work on Sanibel Island at CROW, the Clinic for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife. She knew moving to Florida would allow for an opportunity to do something exotic. After completing her 3-month externship in 2014, Allyson joined SVS as an emergency technician. She recently moved into the internal medicine department to join Dr. Scroggin’s team.
Allyson enjoys spending time outside including fishing and going to the beach. She has one dog named Mercury that she has had for nearly three years.
